It’s time for a BIG update.

Hi everyone! CM here. ๐ŸŽƒ Happy Halloween!!

Good News. A long overdue shop update is, um, FINALLY happening..! ๐Ÿฅณ

It’s been a while. Like, more than a while.

I knew it had been quite a long time since I’d taken photos and written listings for my Etsy shop…. but my jaw may or may not have hit my desk when I realized the last time I wrote a listing for the shop was in 2016!!!

(If you are a visual person, I ask you to please pause here to imagine a short montage of our heroine, the quirky blue-haired maker: hands on hips, lovingly surveying the surroundings of a long neglected, yet somehow overstocked antique store. Brow furrowed, she nods and stares into space, before dutifully opening long-neglected shutters and beginning to clear away years of accumulated dust and cobwebs. Sunlight streams through old windows in majestic beams of miraculous color and, taken by this beautiful scene our intrepid maker begins to cough due to the amount of dust in the air — panics upon seeing a large spider, (ostensibly angered by its recent sudden eviction,) then accidentally stepping into an unattended open can of paint, because this is apparently a screwball comedy. Life is a screwball comedy.)

oops. I may have gotten lost in metaphor. ๐Ÿงญ …again.

OK, I may not be LITERALLY re-opening a dusty shop, but there sure is a lot of work to be done! As we head into the holiday gift-giving season, I’m eager to do a head-to-toe refresh. I’ve got a few new products to introduce, since I was last active, and I also want to dedicate some time to updating and fine-tuning listings for some old favorites that are still in production.

Speaking of being inactive… I’ve kept the store open with mostly digital products over the last couple of years. Unfortunately, I’ve had a couple orders for mail order items slip through the cracks in the last year, which affected my previously 5-star rating. Everyone was refunded, but because I was slow to respond, it (understandably) lead to poor reviews. Nothing to do but grin, bear it and move on. I will be reaching out to the folks who left less than stellar reviews to see if I can make it right, but I also think it’s important to acknowledge my mistakes! Taking good care of customers is at the center of every successful business, no matter how big or small!

New items will be listed daily, starting with some spooky fun Halloween journals I know you’re going to love. It won’t happen immediately, but I look forward to having a fully stocked shop once again!
